Description: The
primary goal of this project is to expand and improve existing parking
areas. Project Challenges: Over
54,000 cubic yards of earth must be blasted and removed from an adjacent
hillside. This earth removal process and the other site improvements must be
accomplished during normal business operating hours. Other challenges
include scheduling the removal and the replacement of communication and
electric power lines without interrupting daily mall operations. Also,
these activities must not interfere with the construction of other new
on-site building projects. Contract
