Wessner’s Excavating was the first mid-size excavation company in the Lehigh Valley to use GPS site positioning and grade control technologies. This allows us the flexibility to track, report, validate, control workflow and complete any task from receipt of the initial design to project completion.
GPS provides our on site supervisors and grade foremen the ability to quickly resolve problems and reduce downtime, as they arise, without office assistance.
Wessner’s primary earthmoving equipment are installed with 3D grade control, a cutting-edge earthmoving system that puts design surfaces, grades and alignments inside the operators cab. The system uses GPS technology to accurately position the blade or bucket in real time, significantly reducing material overages and dramatically improving productivity.
