 Budgetary controls in any project begin with an accurate estimate
Correspondence is paramount in
the estimating process. Wessner’s estimators work closely with the client’s representatives and design engineers to verify the project plans and to provide an estimate that is applicable to the client’s visualization of the final product.
Generating accurate quantity takeoff and costs of work numbers are important steps in producing an estimate. Therefore, our Estimating Department utilizes state-of-the-art hardware and software, current databases of recent job costs and wages, statistical information and subcontractor and supplier submittals.
However, estimating is still a human endeavor, and our staff’s extensive knowledge of civil construction, local building and zoning codes, state and federal regulations allows us to provide our clients with precise quotations.
